How Hremia works

Onboarding, privacy and answers to the questions employees and HR ask most.

Getting started — onboarding in four steps

1 · Configure

Create your workspace, upload your handbook & policy documents, add departments, and invite employees, managers and DPOs. Set reporting routes and privacy notices.

2 · Launch

Announce Hremia to your people, run a short manager briefing, share the trust FAQ, and test the anonymous reporting flow end-to-end.

3 · Listen

Employees use the AI companion and reporting in their own language. HR sees a case only when an employee reports; dashboards show protected aggregates.

4 · Improve

Review wellbeing insights monthly, agree action plans, follow up, and produce board-ready evidence — measure, act, re-measure.

Questions people ask

Can my manager or HR read my chats?+

No. Private by default — managers cannot browse raw conversations. HR only receives a case when you submit a named or anonymous report, or a narrowly-defined legal/safety escalation applies.

Can I report something without giving my name?+

Yes. Choose a named or anonymous report. Anonymous reports give you a private access code for two-way messaging — we store no name and no IP address.

How does the AI know our company policy?+

Your HR team uploads your handbook and policy documents. The companion answers from them — in your language — and cites them as company policy. If something isn't covered, it tells you to check with HR rather than guessing.

Is Hremia a therapist or medical service?+

No. It offers wellbeing support and practical next steps without diagnosing. It is not a medical device or a therapy replacement, and a human can always help.

Will the AI make decisions about my job?+

No. There are no automated employment decisions — it never recommends firing, discipline, promotion or performance actions. Outputs are advisory and reviewed by people.

What does my company actually see?+

Department-level wellbeing trends with strict anonymity thresholds — no dashboards for groups below a safe minimum, and sensitive quotes are suppressed. Never your individual conversations.

Is it GDPR compliant?+

GDPR by design — Article 9/22 alignment, data minimisation, encryption, retention controls, DSAR workflows and DPIA support.

What about the EU AI Act?+

Worker-management AI can be high-risk in the EU, so Hremia keeps human oversight, audit logging, intended-use limits and prohibited-use controls.

Which languages are supported?+

Employees can talk in their own language and the companion replies in the same language. The interface is available in multiple EU languages, including right-to-left Arabic.
